Images are obtained from my roof-top observatory with a 14_ telescope (SCT, Meade). CH4 images are single 60sec integrations, obtained with a KAF402ME-based cooled CCD-camera (QSI504), stabilized with a tip-tilt adaptive optics device (AO-2, Stellar Products). IR and visible-light images originate from 1min-long AVIs grabbed with a ICX424-based USB video-camera (SKYnyx2-0, Lumenera) and StreamPix3 software (Norpix), and processed with Registax5 (Cor Berrevoets). CH4-filter (889nm/18nm FWHM) is from Custom Scientific. RGB (type 2c) and IR807 (proplanet) filters are from Astronomik. IR685 and UV (Venus filter) filters are from Baader Planetarium. Original image sampling is 0.17arcsec/pixel for visible-light (R, G, B) and IR (685 and 807nm) images, 0.25arcsec/pixel for CH4 images, and 0.34arcsec/pixel for UV images. All images show North (N) down and preceding (p) hemisphere left. Time (HH:MM:SS UT) annotated into each image corresponds to mid-exposure. Raw CH4-image data is available. | ||
